LONDON – The Royal Australian Air Pressure has deployed personnel and plane to RAAF Base Amberley and Rockhampton to conduct Train Rogue Ambush 22-1. The Train which options the F-35A Lightning II will run from 21 November to six December 2022.
Train Rogue Ambush is the ultimate section of the F-35A Lightning II operational conversion course, which goals to graduate the latest technology of fighter jet pilots for 81 Wing.
The Train can even help the operational conversion course for E-7A Wedgetail co-pilots, surveillance and management officers (SCOs) and digital help measures operators (ESMOs).
Commanding Officer 2 Operational Conversion Unit, Wing Commander Jordon Sander, stated the plane would function within the surrounding Amberley airspaces, in addition to the Shoalwater Bay Coaching Space (SWBTA).
“Train Rogue Ambush goals to graduate fight prepared F-35A fighter pilots and E-7A crews, who’re ready to function in advanced environments,” Wing Commander Sander stated.
“Japanese Queensland airspaces provide glorious coaching areas for us to place the crews via war-like situations and conduct a variety of tactical flying actions.
