Renaming Cleveland schools for local heroes is not an ‘anti-American’ exercise


Mary Cay Doherty’s reply to the July 9 Editorial Board Roundtable query, “Had been Cleveland colleges proper to take names off buildings?,” by which she wrote that the method “unwittingly helps progressives’ anti-American agenda,” raises one other query: How is naming a constructing for a neighborhood hero anti-American?
