Indian Embassy begins exercise to help 100 Punjabi workers stranded in Abu Dhabi : The Tribune India

The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi has begun train to assist a few hundred Punjabi staff stranded in Abu Dhabi after path from the Union Exterior Affairs Ministry.

Social activist Dilbag Singh, a resident of Baina Pur village right here, had a few days in the past written to Union Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, in search of assist for these staff.

The neighborhood affairs wing, Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi, then despatched an e mail to Dilbag Singh, asking him to share particulars of the stranded staff in order to increase assist to them, which he duly despatched.

Dilbag stated Sq. Common Contracting Firm LLC is predicated out of Al Dana Tower in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He stated this firm has one camp at 14, Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, the place the youth are at present stranded and haven’t any solution to contact their household and pals. Mother and father of those youth obtained data from their family members dwelling overseas.

Dilbag Singh stated the passports of those staff are deposited with the corporate. It has pressured staff out of their jobs, however their passports aren’t being returned. As such, these staff aren’t in a position to return to India.

Dilbag has urged the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi to find the camp and assist the youth.
