Haryana CID’s bomb detection team 2nd in counter-IED exercise

The bomb detection and disposal crew of the Haryana Prison Investigation Division (CID) has bagged second place within the nationwide counter improvised explosive gadgets train organised at Nationwide Safety Guard (NSG) campus in Manesar, Gurugram.

Extra director normal of police (ADGP), CID, Alok Mittal mentioned that the six-day nationwide counter-IED train, which concluded November 26, was held to check the capabilities of the state and central police forces.

“Eight police groups from Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Border Safety Power and Assam Rifles participated within the train. The BSF bagged the primary place, adopted by Haryana and Rajasthan,’’ he mentioned. Haryana CID’s 17-member crew was led by senior scientific officer Anita Sharma.
