The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has achieved its goal of enhancing the interoperability and readiness in joint operations of its main service instructions because it concluded the AFP Joint Train (AJEX) “DAGIT-PA” on Friday, Nov. 18.

Lt. Gen. Bartolome Vicente Bacarro, AFP Chief of Workers, led the closing ceremony of the train at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon Metropolis.
“The execution of the joint workouts has successfully up-skilled the women and men of the AFP and upgraded organizational capabilities,” Bacarro stated.
The AJEX “DAGIT-PA” refers back to the annual unilateral train involving the key service instructions of the AFP particularly the Philippine Military (PA), Philippine Navy (PN), and Philippine Air Pressure (PAF).
The time period DAGIT-PA is coined from the phrases “dagat, langit, lupa” or “sea, sky, and land” which symbolize the areas of operation of the service instructions.
Round 1,500 navy personnel participated within the train that was held in numerous areas within the Western Command (WESCOM) space of operation in Palawan and at Camp Aguinaldo since Nov. 7.

Licudine stated the abilities realized by the troops can be utilized in disaster planning and territorial protection operations.
